Erland Kolding Nielsen, the general manager of the Royal Library, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. In his speech he mentioned that Denmark has been far from the Armenian culture for centuries but now Denmark became one of those countries on the Armenian cultural map where the Armenian culture is not only preserved but it gained a new interpretation & provides a solid foundation for establishing deeper bilateral relations. Mr. Nielsen mentioned as well that the opening of the exhibition was the first attempt to establish cultural cooperation with the new embassy representing an ancient country.
