YouTube in Turkey / "the web-site is banned by the court decision"

Turkish Internet users will not be allowed to use You Tube social network since January 14. Some times ago the Vimeo video web-site was banned. According to the Turkish sources if the user wants to enter You Tube in Turkey, the note will appear on the screen "the web-site is banned by the court decision".

TurkNet internet provider commented that the court made a decision and YouTube social network will not be available for the internet users.

According to the Turkish analysts, the decision is connected with the last corruption scandal & Turkish Government is afraid of the mass actions which can be organized by the internet.
